LinkSheetRestore Link Control on Android

Reimplementing Pre-Android 12 system link handling behavior.

Introduction

LinkSheet reimplements the Pre-Android 12 system link handling behavior in a standalone app, allowing users to choose which app to open links in.

IMPORTANT: LinkSheet is rapidly evolving and has not had a stable release in a long time. Please use the Nightly Builds for the latest features and fixes. The recommended way to keep up to date is to add the nightly repository to Obtainium.

NOTE: This documentation is aligned with commit b27325aa, which is the current HEAD of the master branch.

Key Features

  • Browser Selection: always list all browsers, always open a single selected browser, only list whitelisted browsers, or list no browsers at all (native apps only).
  • App Handling: Set preferred apps for specific hosts, manage verified link handlers, and rewrite links with custom rules.
  • Privacy: Remove tracking parameters, resolve redirects, convert AMP links, and redirect to privacy-friendly frontends.
  • Multi-Profile Support: Seamlessly work across personal and work profiles, and send links to a different profile.
  • Customization: Search, Grid/List views, tap customization, do-not-disturb toggles for individual features, and detailed theme options.
