Third-Party Integrations

LinkSheet bundles several integrations to enhance privacy and utility. Most of them are experimental and live under Links (or Privacy) in the settings.

ClearURLs

Integration: ClearURLs
Purpose: Removes tracking parameters from URLs.

LinkSheet can automatically strip known tracking parameters (like utm_source) from URLs before opening them. This helps preserve your privacy across the web.

FastForward

Integration: FastForward
Purpose: Bypasses link shorteners and tracking redirects.

LinkSheet integrates FastForward rules to extract the final destination URL from intermediate redirects, saving you time and avoiding potential trackers.

LibRedirect

Integration: LibRedirect
Purpose: Redirects traffic from popular proprietary services to privacy-friendly frontends.

Features:

• Redirects services like YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, etc., to instances like Invidious, Nitter, Piped, etc.
• Ignore button: Optionally re-open the original link.
• Custom instances: An experimental feature to add your own frontend instances.
• QuickJS engine: An experimental alternative to the default native Kotlin rule engine.
• Pro Feature: Resolve redirects either locally or via a privacy-focused API hosted at supabase.com.

AMP2HTML

Purpose: Converts AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) links to their canonical HTML versions, either locally or (in Pro) via an external service.

Embed Resolve

Purpose: Rewrites embed mirror hosts (for example fxtwitter.com) back to the real host, so links open in the intended app rather than a third-party viewer.

MIME Types

Purpose: Detects the file type of a link (for example from its URL extension or an optimized request) so the downloader can name and store files correctly.
